My husband and I recently embarked on an exciting journey, launching our own chocolate business, The Viral Lab, right here in the NYC area. Our dream was simple but powerful—to create high-quality, handmade chocolate bars that offer a one-of-a-kind experience, crafted fresh to ensure the best flavors for our customers. We currently sell on eBay, Etsy, Instagram, and Shopify, bringing our passion for unique, indulgent treats to as many people as possible.

But starting The Viral Lab hasn’t been easy. As a family-owned Black business, we faced countless obstacles— breaking into a competitive market, and proving ourselves in an industry where big brands dominate. We poured our hearts into perfecting our recipes, sourcing the best ingredients, and building a brand that represents creativity, culture, and quality. Every late night, every setback, and every challenge has only fueled our determination to share our chocolates with the world.

Despite the hurdles, our passion keeps us going. Seeing people take their first bite and fall in love with our flavors makes it all worth it. The Viral Lab is more than just a business—it’s our dream in motion, built on resilience, hard work, and a love for chocolate.
